Laurel Hill Mansion is a pre-revolutionary house built in 1767 at the behest of Rebecca Rawle, a young Quaker widow with three small children. Its fascinating history includes Loyalist, Patriots, and a French Ambassador among others. Owned by the city of Philadelphia and operated by the non-profit Women for Greater Philadelphia the house is open Thursday through Sunday from 10:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. The last tour begins at 3:00p.m. In addition to the tours Women for Greater Philadelphia host paid and unpaid events at Laurel Hill Mansion.
Admission to Laurel Hill Mansion is $5.00.
Free admission for children under 12.
Guided tours are included with admission.
These informative tours provide the opportunity to learn about the rich
history of Philadelphia and this historic house.
Laurel Hill Mansion is a Blue Star Museum. Active-duty U.S. military personnel and their families are welcome free of charge from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
WHYY members who purchase one admission will receive the second one free.
